Cadence ne se lance pas

Salut tout le monde,

Je viens de faire une instal propre de KXstudio 14.04.02 64b sur mon nouveau pc. C'est la 1ère fois que j'essaie KXstudio (j'avais juste essayé sur clé usb bootable sans résultats satisfaisants). Avant j'utilisais Tango Studio et Ubuntu studio (sur mon ancien pc). J'ai cru comprendre que KXstudio était potentiellement plus stable qu'Ubunutu studio, et la suite Cadence a l'air très intéressante.
Mais quand je lance Cadence (si j'ai bien compris, c'est cadence qui s'occupe de lancer jack, pas besoin de qjackctl), il mouline 30 ou 40 secondes en bas dans ma barre des taches puis s’éteint. J'avais le même problème sur clé usb bootable et j'ai pensé qu'avec une instal en dur le problème serait réglé.

Quelqu'un aurait une idée du problème ?

Ma config : i5-6600, 16gb de ram, asus strix gtx 750 ti, msi h170a pc mate, ssd 512go, dual boot avec windows 7, carte externe Presonus Firestudio Mobile (firewire 400).

As-tu essayé de lancer jackd seul, hors cadence ?

Je ne sais pas ce que tu veux dire par "poster un log" ? J'imagine que c'est un récap du problème mais je ne sais pas le faire.
J'ai installé qjackctl pour voir si lui pouvait fonctionner mais la fenêtre habituelle de qjackctl est vide, impossible de lancer jack ou d'aller dans les paramètres.

Je viens de me rendre compte (l'instal est toute fraiche) que je n'ai pas de son tout court quand je branche mon casque sur la sortie headphone. Que ce soit avec firefox, audacious, vlc, ou même hydrogen (qui n'a pas forcément besoin de jackd), aucun paramètres ne me permet d'avoir du son.

Ok, donc, avant de t'intéresser à jack/cadence, il te faut déjà faire fonctionner le son sur ta machine.

Quelle(s) interface(s) son ?
File aussi un retour de la commande : cat /proc/asound/cards.

Quand aux sorties audio, lance en terminal :

et regarde si les niveaux des tranches qui t'intéressent ne sont pas à 0 ou en "mute" (M) que tu dé-switches avec la touche "m".

... avec alsamixer et F6, profites-en pour vérifier que le carte externe soit bien présente.

Avec alsamixer depuis le terminal j'avais bien la sortie headphone qui était mutée, mais une fois démutée aucun changement même après redémarrage de firefox (pour lire une vidéo). J'ai aussi essayé de désactiver l'automute mode. Dans le mixeur à droite de la barre des tâches la sortie headphone était pourtant ok, c'est bizarre que le mixeur de kde ne soit pas en lien avec alsamixer non ?

Avec F6 j'ai 3 cartes son proposées :

Je précise, au cas où ça puisse avoir un intérêt, que je suis en dual boot avec windows 7-64 sur une autre partition du même disque ssd. Sous windows, tout marche normalement.

Ta carte externe n'apparaît pas... bien sûr, tu es en firewire !
Il faut donc que tu installes ffado pour avoir accès aux drivers.

Je ne peux pas le configurer car cadence ne s'ouvre pas, il mouline un peu dans la barre des taches puis disparaît. J'ai toujours utilisé ces outils (qjackctl...) en mode graphique dans les autres distributions. Je ne peux donc pas choisir entre alsa, firewire, freebob, etc...
Dans tes logs, il est dit qu'il manque un paquet libraw1394.
Ca a rapport avec le firewire mais je ne peux t'aider plus loin, n'ayant pas de connectique comparable ici.

Si je comprends bien ton ffado-diag, il lui manquerait également g++ et PyQt4...
Sous réserve d'avis plus expérimentés sur ffado...

Dans le gestionnaire de paquets synaptics, quand je tape libraw dans la barre de recherche, j'ai bien un paquet libraw1394-11 d'installé, la version est 2.1.0-1ubuntu1.

Quand je tape c++, j'ai beaucoup de propositions mais aucune d'installées. Je ne sais pas laquelle installer, il y en a une qui a juste le nom g++, peut-être celle-là ? Les autres ont des rajouts dans leur nom (version, orienté vers une distribution, ou d'autres termes en sumérien...).

Quand je tape PyQt4, j'ai des paquets pour python qt4 et aussi pour sa prise en charge par python 3 d'installés, et bien sûr d'autres termes en sumérien...
Il te demande bien le g++ et non le c++.
Et, dans les paquets manquants, ce sont peut-être des "-dev" ?
G++, QT4, "-dev"... il faudrait recompiler ?

Mes souvenirs de firewire datent de 5 ans. Autant dire rien...
Peut-être re-titrer ton sujet en citant le firewire, histoire d'intéresser plus spécialisé que moi ?
Je pense que le souci vient de là.
