Bonjour à tous

Heureux de revenir parmi vous avec une évolution du systéme.
Au revoir la Hoontech DSP 24 et bonjour la Edirol FA-101
Passage en LZK 3 : BRAVO Olinuxx pour le travail effectué. Aucun souci de wifi sur ce deploiement (vis à vis des déboires que j'ai pu avoir avant)

je passe donc sur une carte FIREWIRE.

Uniquement hw:0 qui correspond à la carte son interne du pc

Je n'ai pas d'expérience avec le firewire donc, ce que je dis ici est à prendre avec des pincettes, et un conseil de quelqu'un d'autre avec une interface firewire utilisant FFADO serait bienvenu.

J'utilise la FA101 sous Xubuntu et Librazik2. Chez moi, dans Cadence, en mettant le pilote Firewire, l'interface est aussi nommée "hw:0" (bizarre...),mais jack démarre bien sur la FA101.

Cela dit, il semble que la FA101 soit intégrée aux dernières version de Alsa depuis peu, car j'arrive à la voir en sélectionnant Alsa comme pilote dans Cadence dans les entrées sorties, nommée "hw:FA101,0 [BeBoB". D'ailleurs, je n'ai plus besoin de démarrer FFADO mixer car la carte est détectée automatiquement à l'allumage (du moins sous Xubuntu...).

BlackAngel77, à tous les coups elle n'est pas sur la liste noire d'ALSA pour les cartes firewires. Je ne sais pas avec quel pilote ffado elle fonctionne.
Regarde dans le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/snd-firewire-modules-blacklist-librazik.conf si tu vois le pilote de cette carte.
Tu la vois dans l'onglet ALSA de Cadence ? Si oui, celà fonctionne-t-il ?

je viens de lire que la FA-101 n’aimai pas trop les cartes FireWire à chipset VIA (la mienne), je viens de commandé une en chipset TI.

As-tu essayé de démarrer sur "hw:0" avec le pilote firewire dans Cadence, juste pour voir, car chez moi, même si ça paraît illogique, ça fonctionne. Avec Alsa, elle porte le numéro hw:0 tout comme ma carte son interne.
D'ailleurs, j'ai un chipset VIA, et aucun soucis sur mon pc fixe...

en 44100 hz et tampon en 1024.

en duplexe ça coince? Pareil avec le pilote Firewire et hw0? Est-ce que tu peux nous poster les logs de jack?

Ah et aussi, il faut que tu veilles à avoir ton selecteur de fréquence d'échantillonnage sur la FA101 réglé sur la même que Jack, sinon ça va aussi coincer...

Je te montre mes réglages (quasiment les mêmes que toi en somme). En fait pour moi ça marche avec ou sans mixeur FFADO démarré... Image
Comme tu le vois, rien ne nomme la carte, pourtant, jack démarre avec les 10 entrées / sorties disponibles (et aussi le MIDI).

À regarder les captures d'écran, tu n'as pas terminé l'installation de LibraZiK-3.
Lire et appliquer la page d'installation de LibraZiK-3 Image et ne pas oublier de consulter la page "configuration" dont le lien est à la fin de cette page.

Pour info, après une mise à jour, je peux comme sous Xubuntu démarrer Jack avec le pilote firewire et la FA101 sans avoir à ouvrir FFADO mixer (Là aussi, cadence me nomme simplement l'interface "hw:0"). Par contre je ne peux pas passer par le pilote Alsa.


Peux-tu vérifier si tu as ces paquets installés sur ta machine?

Les pilotes firewire ALSA sont blacklistés par défaut sous LibraZiK-3.
Si tu veux pouvoir les utiliser, quand même, il faut décommenter dans le fichier /etc/modprobe.d/snd-firewire-modules-blacklist-librazik.conf et relancer ALSA (ou redémarrer la machine).

Olinuxx: je me suis rendu compte après le poste et en allant sur ton site que je n'avais pas finit d'installer LZK3.
j'ai installé le noyau basse latence que tu conseille sur ton site et démarré avec.

Minimoineau: les paquets cité dans ton post son tous installé.

Je regarde ce soir le fichier etc/modprobe.d/snd-firewire-modules-blacklist-librazik.conf.

Olinuxx: le fait de les rendres utilisable dans LZK3 ne vas pas déstabilisé le système ? Si tu les a bkacklisté c'est pour une bonne raison ?

Et ça marche maintenant ? Avant de bidouiller pour contourner le soucis en utilisant ALSA, tu devrais réessayer.

Comme dit au dessus, laisse cette idée de côté pour l'instant. Tu es censé pouvoir utiliser le pilote FFADO avec la FA101. Réessaie maintenant que LZK-3 est installé correctement. Si ça ne fonctionne pas, alors on verra.

Hello!
J'ai peut-être une piste... Je trouvais bizarre tes logs de jack qui contiennent beaucoup de setting parameter 'drivers':'alsa' alors qu'on est sensé utiliser les pilote Firewire...

Alors ne me demande pas pourquoi, mais lorsque je coche la case "espionne le trafic firewire"
dans l'onglet pilote/firewire, je me retrouve avec jack qui refuse de démarrer, et me renvoie EXACTEMENT les même logs que toi eek!!!

Je décoche cette case et tout rentre dans l'ordre avec Jack qui me lance bien le driver Firewire qui va bien smile!

Tente le coup, mais je pense qu'on avance!

Ça semblerait indiquer qu'un port firewire existe déja au moment où tu tentes de t'y connecter.
