Bonjour à tous,
Je suis sous Tango studio.
Mon PC est un ACER 5742.
Je cherche à utiliser sooper looper comme un live looper.
J'ai un PBS quand je connecte en même temps dans Jack:
- ma carte son externe usb Lexicon Alpha.
- mon pedalier midi usb Icon G-board.

Seul le deux periphériques fonctionnent correctement.
avec le pedalier seul je peut changer de piste comme je veux.
je connecte la carte dans Jack le looper fonctionne.
Je vais dans Qjackctl onglet Alsa pour connecter le pedalier, ça crachote, ça plante et sifflement dans les HP. obligé de débrancher la carte, de fermer sooperlooper qui est planté et de couper Jack (qui a du mal à s'arrêter).

j'ai essayé de changer de port usb (j'en ai trois) tjrs le même pbs.

Je ne vois pas quelle piste exploré. Est la carte, le pedalier ou le controleur usb???? sad

Il faudrait que l'on en sache un peu plus je crois: Dejà voir ce que dit jack dans les Messages de Qjackctl.
Voir aussi ta configue de jack.

Le Pédalier c'est juste pour du midi et déclancher les boucles c'est ça?

Un truc que tu peux faire quand jack ne veux pas s'arrêter c'est lui ordonner ceci; (dans un terminal)
killall -KILL jackdbus jackd


Et ensuite faudrait voir si en utilisant a2j -e ce ne serait plus stable qu'avec alsa?

Le pedalier, c'est pout commander sooper looper, changer les boucle enregistré, arrêter etc etc. ....
Ma config jack est simple:
Pour l'audio: Entrées vers sooperlooper. Sooperlooper vers sortie.
Pour le midi: icon gboard vers sooperlooper.

Pour les messages de qjackctl, je regarde demain.
Pour a2j-e, connais pas je vais jetter un coup d'oeil.

Bon alors,
explication de ma méthode... qui ne fonctionne pas:
je lance Jack - je lance sooperlooper - je connecte mes entrés et mes sorties sooperlooper/system dans jack- petit test, j'enregistre une boucle en cliquant à la sourie et ça tourne- je connecte le pedalier à Jack (dans l'onglet alsa) et sans même appuyer sur le pedalier, ça plante, ça fait un sifflement dans mes enceintes - je débranche ma carte son.

J'ai aussi essayer en lançant A2J -e.
Je voyais dons bien mes connections dans l'onglet midi de qjackctl. mais la même pas besoin de connecter le pedalier (dans jack), ça plante dès que je connect mes entrées sorties...

ça veux dire que tu ne peux pas démarrer jack en RT avec une priorité de 50 % sur l'ensemble de la charge de système t'aura forcément des xruns à tout va ;)

Si tu fais un:
ls /etc/security/limits.d
que te retourne la commande ?

En tout cas merci de t'interresser à mon pbs.

Ma config de jack en terme de priorité j'avais utilisé le tuto linux mao pour jack en mettant 50 sans trop bien savoir:
Priority : Utilisée lorsque le mode temp-réel est activé, cette option permet de régler le niveau de priorité de Jack par rapport aux autres applications audio temps-réel.
Elle ne doit pas être trop élevée car certaines applications audio ont besoin d'une priorité supérieure à celle de Jack, dont l'utilitaire de surveillance jack_watchdog qui se lance automatiquement avec une priorité supérieure de 10 points.
Typiquement on utilisera une valeur comprise entre 50 et 80, sur une échelle définie lors de la configurations du temps-réel pour les applications sur votre système.

Ce que tu cite dans ton post n'a pas lieu d'être car sur ts la configue est conçue pour aller jusqu'à 95 donc si par exemple tu fait ta configue jack avec une priorité de 89 déjà c'est bien. tien regarde ce qu'il dit ton fichier:

Par contre toujours les mêmes pbs en utilisant a2j ou sans.
Dès que j'envoie du son dans la carte ça plante.

Je viens de tester avec un autre programe luppp installé par defaut dans Tango Studio: même tarif.
Je ne sais pas si ça viens de Jack ou de mon PC lui même...

Dans la partie réglage de Qjackctl à pilote midi il y "aucun" est ce qu'uun des choix pourrait m'aider.

Mon contrôleur usb ne se marcherait il pas sur les pieds ou mélangerait-il mes deux périfériques?

je sèche...

Oui mais fais moi une capture de tes réglage de jack pour voir ...

Nouveau test ce matin,
Test avec Rakarack -> même pbs.

idée à la con... je choisi la carte son de mon PC en sortie.
Et ça marche. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je peux jouer, utiliser mon pedalier, pas de plantage.
Je ne sais pas si cela peut aider à résoudre le pbs mais c'est peut être une piste.

quand ca plante avec sifflement, que te dit "dmesg" (message du noyau) ?

A mon avis tu devrai commencer par ta configue jack

  • Echantillon par période (essais) => 512
  • période par tampon (essais) => 2 plutot que 3 parfois c'est mieux ça dépend des cartes ...
  • Nombre de port maximal => 1024

Pour info, j'ai testé avec en entré la carte son de mon pc et en sortie ma ca lexicon alpha -> ça plante.
C'est vraiment quand j'envoie un signal sur cette carte avec le pédalier connecté que ça plante.

Pour le retour de la commande dmesg... ça fait beaucoup de text. J'ai tout mis mais je ne sais pas si c'est util.

Une question que je me pose, dans JACK, j'ai dans la liste des périphériques audio j'ai mon "icon Gboard" alors que ce n'est pas une carte son.

D'accord je suis trop c@n moi je n'ai pas regardé ce que c'était comme matos moi je pensais qu'il avait une entrée audio c'est dire.oups
Donc moi ce que j'essairai c'est d voir si le pedalier tout seul est capable d'émettre des signaux midi ou non. Si tout seul il fonctionne alors je chercherai ailleurs:
Est ce que par hasard tu ne serait pas sur un laptop ? Vu la ref du pc tu va surement me dire oui donc ce que tu fait: Avant de lancer jack tu ajoute à un de tes panel via un clic droit "Monitoeur de changement de fréquence du processeur" et systématiquement quand tu veux faire du son tu le passe sur performance governor et je pense bien que ça devrait arrêter tes xruns (si c'est bien ce que je pense)
On peux définir par défaut le réglage sur performance mais c'est au détriment de la batterie ...

Oui, je suis bien sur un labtop, mais sur secteur (la batterie ne risque rien, elle ne tient plus la charge).
