[Jack] Xruns & saturation numérique

Bonjour tout le monde,

J'ai un souci avec une carte son RME ADI-2 Pro qui fonctionne très bien sur un mini-PC (en USB 3.0), mais depuis que je l'ai connectée à une tour (USB 2) j'ai des xruns avec coupure de son (+/-100 par heure) et presque autant de saturations numérique (extrêmement désagréable à entendre) de 44.1 à 192KHz quelque soit le réglage que je fait dans jack je ne parviens pas et les éliminés.
En décochant "temps réel" il y a un peu moins de xruns et j'ai toujours les saturations.
Et j'ai le même résultat sous Archlinux kernel RT ou Ubuntu studio.
Peut-être un problème d'USB ? Mais je ne sais pas quoi chercher.

Étrange car si on en lit https://www.rme-audio.de/en/products/adi_2-pro.php Image , elle est censée fonctionner en USB 2.

Elle est bien alimentée par un transfo externe, et pas "juste" par l'USB ?

As-tu essayé de changer de port USB sur ta machine (on voit que tu as des ports USB 1.1 et d'autres 2.0).

Tu peux également essayé de changer le câble USB. Un câble défectueux ou, juste parfois trop long, peut engendrer des désynchronisations audio.
Oui elle est alimentée par un transfo externe.
J'ai fait 4 des 6 ports «fixes» de la carte mère ainsi que les 2 ports supplémentaires (sortie slot pcie).
J'ai essayé le câble d'origine ainsi qu'un câble DIY de seulement 30cm (cuivre OFC plaqué argent avec blindage + ferrite). Pas de changements.
Étant donné que sur le même ordinateur ça fonctionne sous w7 je pense plus à un problème logiciel que physique.
Problème toujours pas résolu, je suis dans les choux. Quelqu'un a une idée ou une piste à explorer ?

Dans le setup de la carte, n'y a-t-il pas de paramètres "rusés" concernant le fréquençage ou une synchro d'horloge (timer) ? J'avais eu ce genre de problème avec une carte PCI Echo.

La carte est en: clock source -> Auto. Elle se synchronise parfaitement avec la fréquence de Jack. J’étais en mode non-oversampling, mais aucun changement dans les autres modes. Je ne vois rien dans les réglages qui pourrai modifier/perturber le fréquençage ou la synchro d'horloge.
Oui j'ai fait tout les ports USB de la carte mère.

Probablement parce que tu te mélanges les pieds entre /etc/security/limits.conf et /etc/security/limits.d/audio.conf . Je suppose que si tu regardes dans le 2ème, la prio est positionnée à 90.

snd représente tous les modules sons d'alsa et donc une priorisation de ceux ci.
i8042 c'est le pilote chargé de la gestion des claviers et souris pour le noyau linux

As-tu relancé/réinitialisé le script ensuite ? Car modifier les valeurs sur cette ligne ne suffit pas, il faut relancer le script ensuite.
En effet, autant pour moi, j'ai bien confondu …limits.conf et …audio.conf. Je n'ai pas modifié ces valeurs (90/95).
Ok pour i8042 et snd merci. J'ai re-essayé plusieurs combinaisons à la ligne RTIRQ_NAME_LIST mais sans succès.

Si tu penches pour un problème d'IRQ, tu peux essayer de donner la priorité IRQ au module-noyau pour la RME. Parce que là, en donnant la priorité aux modules ehci_hcd et ohci_hcd, tu donnes la priorité à tout ce qui passe par l'USB ce qui est moins précis. Quel est le nom du module-noyau pour la RME ?

PS : pour info, j'ai créé la page RME ADI-2 Pro et y ai mis un lien vers ici. Sens toi libre et encouragé à l'améliorer.

Pour trouver le nom du module utilisé par cette interface, tu peux par exemple comparer la sortie d'un lsmod entre 2 démarrages avec l'un où elle est branchée, et l'autre non. Ou bien encore farfouiller sur la toile jusqu'à trouver un endroit où ça en parle, ou encore demander à RME, ou regarder dans les sources du noyau,...

mmm, j'ai peut être dis des bêtises ici. Ça fait longtemps que je n'ai pas mis mon nez dans rtirq. Je te suggère de lire la page rtirq puis la page Temps-réel pour les processus IRQ pour comprendre ce que tu peux faire avec ce script.

Également, si tu en as la possibilité, je serais curieux de savoir si tu obtiens le même comportement en utilisant une LibraZiK-2. Attention ici, il faut une installation sur disque dur complète car la gestion de rtirq n'est pas active sur le live.
